*pulls greasy hair out* Ahhhh! So frustrated!!
The following is an attempt to “listify” the problems I have encountered over the last couple of days. (And yes, this is a wingey type of post.)

1. My Acer Aspire 3003WLMi laptop has 5% free disk space.
This means that every single program either loads slow or can’t open at all.
It also means that every right click freezes my screen and takes goodness knows how long to “unmultiply’ itself so that I can actually read the right click options.
It also means that everything that is important to me, that was saved on my computer, is currently being scattered around the web in ZIP files. Photobucket, Imageshack, Windows Live SkyDrive (which is pretty awesome by the way)… You name it, I’ve probably got some of my stuff there.
My USB key is full too. How did this happen? Why did I leave it get so bad?
Oh man, I wish I knew the exact answers to those questions. But here’s my guess: I think I’ve become an obsessive collecter. I’m only just coming to terms with that revelation. I thought I was doing pretty well! I’ve given countless bags to Amnesty International, random visitors, neighbours… Every draw in my room is still packed but at least the floor is close to clear. OK well there are perhaps still 8 boxes in the corner next to the window… But it’s not like I really use that area anyway, just to open the window that’s all. So here I was congratulating myself on my progress. On the surface, my room seems pretty tidy. Just don’t look in the 16 drawers, 2 cupboards, 5 shelves, under the bed, on top of the cupboards, or near the window.

But it turns out that I was still collecting “stuff” on my computer. Emoticons, brushes, scans, resources I will never use, tutorials I don’t have the time to try out, FREE PROGRAMS and TOOLS! Just tell me something is free and cool and I’ll stock it on my laptop. Surely one day it will come in handy… Right?
I’ve practically saved the whole of Subeta on my computer too. Except items. I have all the pets, characters, shop icons, minions and then on top of that I have all the old versions, pre-revamp images, of all of those. And the screen shots! Oh my gosh the screen shots… You did something kind for me? I screenied it. You gave me a prezzie, I screenied it. You were really rude, didn’t respect rules in your dealings with me, I screenied it. And then I’ve got all the random events too.

Everything mentioned above accounts for a bit less than 50% of the rubbish I have collected over the past 3 years. I don’t have that many videos or music tracks. I don’t have any games other than Spider Solitaire and the default ones that come along with a Microsoft computer so at least those aren’t responsible for all this mess.
So that is the first reason for my headache right now. Let’s see what else there is, shall we?

2. I have hardly been on Subeta.
That’s one of my favourite websites! I’ve been missing out on so many things! Which results into the following.

3. My website is being neglected.
It’s not that I haven’t had updates or things to talk about. It’s just the whole computer spazzing thing made everything take a lot longer than normal. I’m already pretty slow; my brain just isn’t capable of registering new information and then processing it like it used to.

• I have given a gift to LilVet* (aka Zoey) via a fun service Crazy-cutie.eu* recently put in place (check it out at the bottom of the Gifts Given page).
• I have adopted a new one of a kind adoption and revamped that page a little bit, also from Crazy-Cutie.eu.
• I won the title of Best Advice in the 2nd Annual Teahouse Awards* and added the precious award to my awards page.

4. I’m all spotty.
Yeah, greasy hair and spotty. I feel great thanks. I’ve been baking in my room facing North-East. If I wasn’t at the bottom of France perhaps I would be able to see Dover from my window. (lol What kind of logic is that?)

5. My breasts aren’t clip on
But I wish they were. So at night I would just un-clip the left and the right one and I would sleep so peacefully! My t-shirts would fit and I wouldn’t feel as self conscious about low neck lines and cleavage being revealed when I bend down. And then for nights out (L.O.L. What nights out?) I could clip them back on and wear en elegant dress and all that.

Yeah right. And the Ogre version of Prince Charming will use his spider web powers to climb the building wall, knock at my window, and then whisper “Good Evening Loïs…”.

But you know, I’m good. Keeping sane.

My website hardly works in Internet Explorer! >_<
I just switched browser to make sure all was still fine, just like I did during the layout change. But this time it's a real mess, with scrollbars all over the place and lists look pretty bad too.
Since the layout change, I have made quite a few touch-ups here and there. I didn't realise they could affect how IE sees my site though! u_u Ah la la..
I am so sorry if you are an IE user and have been seeing my site like this. I guess I'll have to work on it.

In other news, Caz has given me a super cute gift entitled “KittyForTheLovelyJoanna”. Isn’t she supa sweet? It’s in the top left corner of this post. I don't feel like I've done much for you or really stayed in contact. I guess a little kind word now and then seems to suit us both pretty well. I greatly respect the webmiss, but I admire the person behind even more. Thankyou!

And yet another gift! Woohoo! These two are from Allie and are my prizes for winning SECOND PLACE in her “Design-a-Bear” contest that ended on April the 6th. So cute!

I also got a participation award like all those who entered the contest.
Congratulations to the other winners (2 of them are my affies!! *I ish a proud affie* lol). Also big claps for all entries, I would have found it very difficult deciding which should be in the top three.
And last but not least, thankyou to the Jury and Allie for organising this original contest.

I have a special tag ready for moments like this. It’s called the Oops tag. So what is the current oops you may ask. Well it’s quite simple really. I’ve messed up my commenting system. But, naturally being a Oops kind of person I also put in place a few weeks ago a Guestbook. So before you start pulling out your hair out of sheer frustration, 1)let me give you a warm pat on the back for letting me know about the problem and 2)unleash your comments on my brand new Guestbook.

Oh I just remembered a second Oops I should confess about. I’ve messed up the smilies too hehe! So you’ll just have to cope with the default yellow-orangey ones. FIXED smilies problem
Let me see if I can think of any problems I’ve created since changing layout. Mmh no that must of been it.

I have nearly finished moving all pages into wordpress which takes off the .php extension at the end of the urls. Once it’s fully done though as promised I’ll give the all clear sign so that you know to change your bookmarks if bookmarks of J.S.Net you have.

The layout. Well, um, yet again different isn’t it? I’m finding the borders a bit plain, I don’t know.. It was more the result of a playing around session than a real thought through site theme like that pink one was. Anyone remember the pink one? With pixels by Lovecandied, and a few photos on it too. Well it makes a nice change anyway. It’ll do for now. Maybe I should ask Jess of SwimChick.net. She could do my site layout and I would do her layout coding. *(^_^)*

As the title says, I’m slowly going through my website’s pages and adding them to wordpress rather than have them on my computer and update via FTP. If you’ve bookmarked any pages, over the next few days you may find that the link brings up a “404 page not found” error. So once the job is done I will post here so that you know to change any bookmarks you had to their new url. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this may cause!!

Also my site is very much outdated since I took a small break.
There are new games, characters, pet revamp polls and minion revamps on Subeta for example which need to be added to the site here. This will be happening over the next few days too.

And now for the good news: I’m still moderator at Teahouse MB!!!
And Lisa and Kimmy have been really kind and understanding and have reduced my 6 forums down to 2. I feel bad for having asked but when you work with people I think it’s important to be honest, especially if you are struggling. And you may be surprised at the helping hands people offer you if you are honest with yourself and with them. I think TH is teaching me a lot more than just how to be a moderator. I know it’s not paid but I see it as a sort of job. As I haven’t had any real jobs other than voluntary stuff, I feel this is good experience. Wierd huh? And my respect for the other staff has really grown. I do not regret choosing this message board over all the others.
