Thank you Joanna for all your kind words! I really appreciate your friendship. <3

I'm curious to discover the American environment, and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you. I wonder what the contrast will be like. Hopefully I will enjoy it just as much as I've enjoyed the nature here. I'm really going to miss the UK: I can't tell you how much!

I'm very sorry to hear about your dad's stroke. It must be really hard being separated from him. You are very strong to cope with your hardships. I pray your dad recovers well.

I had a go at your quiz!

3) Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 23, give me line 17.

Perhaps you believe in evolution but not the Bible. Intellectual honesty demands that you consider all reasonable evidence, and there is valid scientific evidence for creation.
"Homeschooling High School: Planning Ahead for College Admission" by Jeanne Gowen Dennis.

12) Ever stuck a foreign object up your nose?

I don't think so. However, when I was little, I stuck crayons in my ears.

13) If you were to categorise your faith, what religion would it fall in?

I'm also Protestant Christian.

14) If you are outside, what are you most likely to be doing?

I'm either working or going on a nature walk.

15) Do you prefer to be behind the camera or in front of it?

Behind, of course!

19) What does your blog/site’s name mean?

Miss Veedol is the name of the first airplane to fly non-stop across the Pacific Ocean. Piloted by an American, it flew from Washington state, and crash-landed on a beach in Japan. When I was little my family would visit that beach. I named my website Miss Veedol because of the childhood memories I have of Japan.

24) Do you have a collection of anything?

I collect yarn, hand-blown glass balls, and postcards.

27) What’s a sound you hate; sound you love?

I hate commercial jingles. I love hearing my sister play her guitar and sing.

36) Define “art”.

The expression of an essence.

40) Do you drive? If so, have you ever crashed?

I sort of drive… I have a British provisional license, and I talk one of my parents into letting me drive once or twice a month. I've never crashed, but I have scared my dad a few times.

51) Do you tend to hold grudges against people who have done you wrong?

No, I always try to forgive others.

52) What is your astrological sign?

Virgo. I don't believe in astrology though. My Chinese zodiac is the Monkey.

53) Do you tend to save money or spend it?

I tend to save. I'm working really hard to save for college!

54) What’s the last thing you purchased?

Lunch at work for $2.50. It was a Lean Pocket and a soda.

56) In a relationship?

No, no romance here.

59) Where were you yesterday?

At work and at home.

60) Is there anything pink within 10 feet of you?

Books, origami paper, amigurumi, and lucky stars.

66) What is your cultural heritage?

I believe I have English, Scottish, and French ancestors, and certainly others as well. I also have two Native American Cherokee ancestors.

76) In your opinion, what makes a great relationship?

I agree: communication.

78) Can insanity bring on more creativity?

It can, although I wouldn't exalt insanity. Nevertheless, a favorite verse of mine is said to have been written by an inmate in an insane asylum. This is the verse, part of the hymn "The Love of God":

Could we with ink the ocean fill,

And were the skies of parchment made,

Were every stalk on earth a quill,

And every man a scribe by trade,

To write the love of God above,

Would drain the ocean dry.

Nor could the scroll contain the whole,

Though stretched from sky to sky.

Joanna! It's wonderful to hear from you! I've been keeping you in my prayers. How are you doing?
Thank you. ^U^ Yes, my family is moving back to the States! I'm excited about it, but I'm also unsure because we don't know which State to move to yet. The future is up in the air at the moment. My dad will be retiring and looking for a new job. Where we go depends on where my dad finds work. I'm praying the Lord will lead us to the right place. And I'm hoping there will be an ideal university nearby for me to attend.
I will of course continue to share my creativity and little adventures with you on my blog. ^U^
